Good design is often about measurements people never consciously notice, but physically feel.
A dining table with enough clearance so chairs move comfortably.
A pendant hung at the right height so it feels intimate, not overwhelming.
A hallway wide enough to feel calm instead of compressed.
These decisions seem small, but they shape how naturally a space functions and how comfortable people feel within it.
In architecture, proportions matter just as much as aesthetics. Sometimes the difference between a space feeling awkward or effortless comes down to a few inches.
