Project Update:

OTCA is responsible for all temporary floor,wall and telecom equipment protection on the Aecom Tishman Generator Replacement Project within the Astoria, Verizon Facility. Once temporary protection was completed, prep work included over 500 penetrations for new Nelson Studs, along with facilitation of proper expansion joints and rebar installation for newly poured 6” reinforced concrete slabs.

Additionally, OTCA was responsible for the new generator concrete platform which incorporated new steel framing, fabricated to support heavier structural loads. Upon completion of all new structural slabs, OTCA installed numerous 2-Hour Rated partitions and ceilings with associated doors, frames and hardware. While coordinating with Aecom & the various on-site trades, OTCA progresses in space prepping for one of Verizon’s largest Generator Replacements.

OTCA recently completed an interior office fit out for
ADCO Electric at 355 Lexington Avenue.

Scope included all new MEP, new ACT ceilings, glass office front partition system, and new lighting throughout the space! On-Trac worked diligently with all vendors to deliver this space within 15 weeks!

OTCA recently completed a commercial office space for Curtis & Ginsberg Architects at 1 Battery Park Plaza owned by Rudin Management Co.
Scope items included layout planning, new ACT ceilings, all new MEP, custom pony walls, Tagwall glass office front system, custom millwork, & lighting design and controls. We are confident that this space will not only meet but exceed the expectations of the tenant providing them with a dynamic and inspiring workspace with amazing views for years to come!

On-Trac is pleased to showcase its installation of the 520 Fire Barrier System at 561 Greenwich St ! In their pursuit of merging an existing masonry building with their new state of the art office tower, the design team was tasked with achieving both a seismic and fire rating that would allow multiple
openings between the two structures for use of the full city block footprint. On-Trac teamed up with INPRO to supply and install specialized fire barriers that would allow up to 7” of movement between the structures and still maintain their rating in a fire or seismic event. With addition of specialized aluminum expansion joint covers, future tenants will be able to fill the pans with their finished flooring of choice for a seamless integration to the adjacent space. On-Trac received recognition from the manufacturer for an innovative approach to bridging the
neighboring floor slabs and was invited to their preferred installers list!

On-Trac Construction was proud to be the General Contractor for the iconic “Big Button Sculpture” on 7th Avenue at 39th Street. It was such an incredible experience working on this project and a major collaborative effort with UAP, Hines and other agencies. The new sculpture celebrates the Garment District’s rich history . Reaching a height of 28 feet, the new sculpture will create a dynamic experience for the many pedestrians walking along 7th Avenue for many years to come. Thank you to a great team

On-Trac proudly assisted in the installation of the new 1000 kW Diesel Generator System within the Verizon Laurelton Facility. Our scope included the buildout of a new Generator Room consisting of new concrete pads, curbs and footings. Additionally included was a new courtyard staircase, installation of new acoustical wall panels, Fire Rated Partitions & Vestibules, FSD enclosures and Epoxy Flooring. We look forward to completing more projects with the Verizon & Tishman Aecom team!
