Donald Pagano founded DRP Electrical Contracting in 1994 and has been employed in the Electrical Industry for over 35 years. His initial objective was to provide all types of electrical contracting services for any potential NYC customers. Over time, the needs of his preferred customers became more specialized bringing his company focus to the data/communications, fire alarm and cellular service w

iring industries. Construction management support on many of our projects soon became a part of his corporate and financial success. The rapid growth in the early years was contributed largely through collaborative efforts with other qualified small sub-contractors to collectively bid, win and execute such projects in the NYC area. These early years produced projects ranging from extensive medical and residential renovations to commercial retail stores in NYC malls. DRP additionally succeeded in the medical field of radiology. DRP has worked on many local NYC hospitals and medical facilities. Most notable Sloan Kettering, Montefiore Medical Center, Our Lady of Mercy, Beth Israel, St. Vincent’s Medical Center of S.I., Staten Island University Hospital and Regional Radiology PC of Staten Island. Much of this work was wiring MRI, CAT scan, X-Ray and other radiology equipment, as well as, computer and communication wiring. DRP created close alliances with the CATV industry and worked on many capitalization projects for Time Warner Corporation of Staten Island and Cablevision of New York City. DRP was contracted to wire Time Warner’s Staten Island cable fiber optic network and their five (5) hub sites, Cablevision’s Keyspan Ball Park in Brooklyn for the minor league NY Mets Franchise, and The Brooklyn Battery and Queens Midtown Tunnels cellular sites for International Fiber Com.
