Looking back at this kitchen designed in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill Historic District: where heritage, craft, and a touch of storytelling quietly meet.

A custom Jali screen plays a double role, acting as both backsplash and balustrade for the staircase leading down to the newly reimagined garden level of this five-story townhouse.

The material palette was thoughtfully composed to celebrate the owners’ Pakistani and Haitian roots, while remaining in dialogue with the home’s original Italianate character.

A layered space, where every detail carries a bit of history, and a sense of home.

Spring has officially arrived in Brooklyn, and with the warmer days settling in, we find ourselves daydreaming about slow afternoons spent in this townhouse’s rear garden.

The entire rear brick façade was thoughtfully rebuilt, making way for a new two-story stucco-clad addition, designed to seamlessly integrate a staircase down to the basement level.

A quiet transformation that not only reshaped the home, but created a natural flow between indoors and out, just in time for the season we’ve all been waiting for.

Thinking back to the bathrooms we designed for the full renovation of a six-story Upper East Side townhouse. Each bathroom was brought to life with touches of blue, teal, and terracotta: playful moments of color that added a bit of fun when bathing two young children.

Finally, April is here, and we’re already counting down the days until we can dive back into pool season on the East End of Long Island.

Dreaming of this North Haven outdoor renovation that transformed the space to reflect the colors of the nearby bay. A custom blue concrete coping was created for the pool and hot tub, complemented by custom blue mosaic tiles at the outdoor shower: reminding us of blue skies, water, and all the reasons we love summer.

Our photographer, Michael Wells, is back on site this week at our Los Angeles project, just in time to catch the garden in full spring bloom. We have a feeling this California light is going to be extra kind. Can’t wait to see what he captures.

The weekend is already upon us, and this Brooklyn bedroom we designed is the perfect place to linger a little longer. With custom white oak millwork and abundant natural light, the space was conceived as a calm and inviting retreat; ideal for slow mornings and unhurried weekends.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀 For a touch of green, here’s a throwback to the lush rear yard and powder room of our Gowanus Townhouse project; an urban oasis that brings a welcome layer of greenery to the heart of Brooklyn.

Spring is just around the corner. Designing coastal summer homes is always a special experience. This house is clad in traditional cedar shingles that weather beautifully over time, grounding the architecture in its coastal setting. The dialogue between the ocean, natural materials, and architecture is simply unmatched.

Through the addition of a wood screen, we created visual separation while maintaining openness between the stair and the surrounding spaces. The stair is the center of this Gowanus home and serves as both a structural and sculptural element, filtering natural light from a newly added skylight at the center of the home, proving that sometimes the best focal points are the ones that glow from above.

A look back at the renovation of this Regency-style house in Palm Beach. Through the use of color, a connection is created between the greenery, the pool, and the white backdrop of the home. We introduced a new pool and generous openings that frame the backyard oasis; proof that even the most refined homes can enjoy a little sunshine and attitude.

Dreaming of warm spring days spent rallying on the grass court, then lingering in the wooden tennis pavilion we designed and built a few years ago for our clients in the Hamptons. 🎾 Proof that good architecture pairs just as well with leisure as it does with sport.
