My blood pressure is officially off the charts after receiving a $22000 invoice for what amounts to plastic tubes and yellow string. This company spent three days cutting up my property just to lay down some basic drainage pipes that look like they were wrapped in paper towels. There is zero craftsmanship here just unskilled labor digging holes in the dirt and throwing metal rods into a trench. When I asked the foreman why this cost so much he claimed the engineering requirements for under slab rebar and slope alignment justified the price. Slope alignment?! It looks like a giant mess that any toddler with a plastic shovel could replicate in a sandbox. Am I overreacting for demanding a full itemized refund for this absolute extortion??

Working on a sewer line repair and the circled coupling is what I'm concerned about. It's a standard rubber coupling, and I'm about to cover it up. Is a metal-shielded coupling required underground, or will this one hold up just fine?

This toilet supply line looks a little short, mate. 🚰 Not sure if it needs to be longer and then looped or if it’s fine....
