Flat Pack Furniture Assembler

• Handle free-standing and packaged furniture (moving, lifting)

• Strive and maintain the highest standard of best practice and work ethics

• Comply with all company systems used to meet its health and safety obligations as well as the customer service excellence

• Carry out work in a timely and professional manner

• Carry out general ad hoc duties as requested

• Competent in carpentry, drywall, joinery or roofing

• Experienced in kitchen furniture fitting

• Competent in the use of hand and power tools

• Safety knowledge related to the transportation of tools, materials and work pieces in and around work sites and work areas

• Competent with basic health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) requirements and associated paper work (Workplace Standards)

• Good interpersonal skills with strong cross trade communications

• Ability to train and supervise junior staff

• Ability to communicate well with key stakeholders

• You need to have a full clean driving licence.

You should be polite and presentable; take utmost pride and attention to detail in your work and be willing to work as part of a dedicated team to deliver first class customer service and satisfaction.

Staff at an IKEA furniture store on Sweden's west coast stumbled across a pile of around 50,000 face masks gathering dust in a warehouse and donated them to a nearby hospital this weekend.

IKEA has begun construction on its innovative, seven-story city store in vienna‘s westbahnhof station, designed by querkraft architekten with green façades, a green roof terrace, and no car parking.

Geared towards pedestrians, cyclists, and people who use public transport, the store has no space for cars as it is developed to serve the ever-increasing number of people who live in urban centers without them.

Friendly, open, unconventional and informal, the building’s design is reminiscent of a bookcase, which, besides the shopping areas, packs a lot of experience spaces, gastronomy, areas to stroll around, and more green than a park in this area could offer, with 160 trees sustainably influencing the micro-climate.
