I AM LITERALLY SHAKING. I just paid $12,500 to finish my basement and I walk downstairs to find my walls looking like a giant green and white zebra! The lead guy had the audacity to tell me this is industry standard and just the first coat but I hired professional finishers not a kindergarten art class. I told him to sand it all off and start over with actual solid white paint or I’m calling the police for theft of service! Am I overreacting or is this absolutely disgusting quality for a premium renovation?!!

Kind of looks like an inverted P-trap, with some PEX lines running next to it. Can't say I've seen an outdoor installation quite like it.

of 9 to 12 inches (230mm to 300mm) from the finished back wall to the back edge of the pan. This allows adequate space for the flush pipe connection and comfortable foot placement.
From Side Walls: Ensure at least 12 to 15 inches (300mm to 380mm) of clearance from the outer edge of the pan to the finished side walls for comfortable seating.
Drop/Step down: The floor area for the pan is usually dropped by 1.5 to 2 feet during slab casting to accommodate the trap and pipe slope before filling and tiling. Plumbing trick and tips follow me .

• Narrow lines limit how much water can pass through at once, which can make the shower feel weak.
• Larger pipes reduce friction losses, allowing a higher flow rate to reach the shower head.
• With better flow, the spray appears stronger and more consistent, even though the pressure itself hasn’t increased.
Understanding this difference helps you design or upgrade plumbing systems that deliver a more satisfying and reliable shower experience.

I am fuming. I paid a plumber $8,900 to run one simple drain line across my yard and now it looks like a giant mole with a criminal record tore through the whole property. He told me “the trench has to follow the grade,” but why does it look like he got lost halfway and just started digging toward the neighbor’s trampoline? My grass was perfect yesterday and now I have a dirt highway, exposed pipe, and tire tracks everywhere. He says cleanup is “not included.” Not included?? You destroyed half an acre.
