Conduit going everywhere, bends fighting for their lives, and a junction box hanging in the middle like it’s just happy to be included. I know “it works” is the lowest possible standard, but come on.
Would this pass inspection, or is this just another masterpiece of jobsite confidence? 🔥

If I wanted to do some simple maintenance to clean out my condensate drain line, it would be the cap within the red circle in the picture correct? Just want to make sure before I ruin this thing. Planning to run some distilled white vinegar through there to keep the drain line clean so it doesn’t get clogged. Thanks!

Question for the old old-timers on here.
Pulled this out of a 1947-ish build and it looks like old Teck-style cable with some kind of lead sleeve. I’m trying to wrap my head around how they even installed or pulled this stuff through rigid back then.
Was this normal for the era? Special method? Brute force and prayers?
Any insight from the guys who’ve seen this dinosaur cable before would be appreciated

Do they make angled stop valves with the handle on the side?
I had a few guys working on a toilet replacement and they had the toilet installed on an angle becuase with the way the toilet is constructed, the stop valve pushes the toilet so it sits at an uncomfortable 10 degrees off center
I realize the issue is with the stop valve, their recommendation is to open up the wall and move the pipe four inches to the right, but i dont see why they cant just add a valve whose handle is on the right/left side, since that would save approx 1.5 inches, Add into that just cutting the threads and rethreading the pipe so the valve is closer to the wall, then the toilet would sit at 0
Problem is i cant seem to find a part online that matches that description, is that even a thing that exists?
