I’m planning to lower this loop vent so I can level out the island. The builder originally installed a bar area to hide it, but now it’s interfering with my new layout.
The sink drain is at the bottom of the 2x6 and appears to run lower already, so relocating the vent seems possible. The red line shows where the top of the loop vent would sit after the move.
Has anyone tackled a similar project? Can the loop vent be lowered, or is there a code-compliant way to eliminate it altogether? Looking for advice before I start cutting and relocating pipe! 👨‍🔧

Age my whirlpool AC unit…. We are having a new AC and furnace installed tomorrow. The HVAC guy said the AC is at least 40 years old. Furnace just turned 20 years old in December so we are replacing together. We’ve been in the house 11 years so definitely got our money worth

Is this acceptable? Painters are repainting my house that has wood siding. They scraped the spots where the old paint was peeling off, but they didn't fill in those areas to make them flush/smooth before spraying. Now I have these ugly spots all over. Is this acceptable or completely not done right? I'm not a painter, but this seems wrong.

Please help settle a debate... is this too warped to work with..?
