Architecture in Formation is pleased to announce the promotion of Ariel Millan to Studio Director. Since joining AiF in 2023 as a Senior Architectural Designer, Ariel has brought his extensive experience at various scales and types to bear on practically every project the studio has undertaken since he arrived. His work reflects a passion for crafting design narratives that unite programmatic needs, client vision, and the untapped potential of each project. In true AiF spirit, Ariel seeks out solutions to every problem that are at once obvious and unexpected.
In his new role, Ariel will assist Matthew Bremer in studio leadership in all its aspects – design, project management, and studio culture, reinforcing AiF’s commitment to delivering rigorous, compelling and sustainable design in all its endeavors.

Beyond his work at AiF, Ariel contributes to the academic community as an adjunct professor of Architecture at the New York Institute of Technology, where he mentors the next generation of designers.
