Here’s the first floor of my house after a hardcore renovation. From the outset, this project had a clear commitment to minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. I believe that reaching this goal happens in the tiny decisions we make throughout a renovation and one of those I made was to leave the first floor ceiling exposed. It eliminated having to purchase excess materials in order to cover up this beautiful ceiling. Instead, I chose to paint it and put its imperfections on display. I hope you like it!!

The way the bedding all compliments each other along with the notes of purple in the rug is just the sweetest way to add color into your room 🥲 All the colors from the carpet to the art above the bed work so beautifully with the terra cotta wall.
