Most homeowners only notice the final paint color. Most painters know the real work happens before the paint ever opens.

One product we use regularly for wood repair is Bondo Wood Filler. Great for repairing cracked trim, chipped fascia, old nail holes, damaged moldings, and small exterior wood defects before priming and painting.

Why we like it:
• Hardens strong and durable
• Sands smooth
• Holds up well on exterior repairs
• Accepts primer and paint properly
• Helps create a seamless finish on older woodwork

The biggest mistake with wood filler is rushing prep or painting over unstable material underneath. Proper scraping, sanding, cleaning, filling, priming, and sealing is what actually makes repairs last.

A smooth finish starts long before the final coat.

A clean exterior upgrade — completed while this JFK logistics facility stayed fully operational.

We repainted the full exterior without disrupting truck traffic, staff, or operations. For the primary walls, we used Benjamin Moore Ultra Spec Exterior — Low Lustre for its strong adhesion, consistent finish, and long-lasting durability. Low Lustre gives a smooth, uniform look without highlighting imperfections — perfect for commercial exteriors that need to look sharp and perform.

Lower walls with damage were rebuilt and smoothed using Sakrete Concrete / Parging Mix, creating a solid base rather than just painting over defects. Brickwork was left exposed by design, and the 8-rib CMU received 3 coats of premium paint for maximum protection.

From residential touches to large-scale commercial projects, our approach stays the same: reliable prep, premium materials, clean ex*****on, and a finish that lasts.
