Glory be to Allah. I am grateful 🥹 to Allah for everything. I thank Allah much for his guidance to Islam ☪️. All praise and worship is for him alone. It is mind-boggling how little attention this issue is getting. I will continue to do my part no matter how much pushback I get.

I am thrilled that an organization which has supported me since I was 13 years old will be among the first to give me a platform.

I was researching the CROWN Act today (that failed in the U.S. Senate 2 weeks ago) and I found this fascinating infographic on Dove's website.

The CROWN Act specifically addressed race-based hair discrimination (as distinct and apart from folks of other races who choose to grow locs or cornrows).

We usually talk about such discrimination in the workplace, but what about when it starts on the playground?
