Someone cut through a structural beam to install a toilet. No permits.

This is the first of two bathrooms we remodeled for our client Maciej in Kearny, NJ. During demo we found where someone cut a beam just to fit a toilet, no permits, no inspection. That does not pass code.

We rebuilt everything the right way. New layout, walk-in shower with a 3-in-1 rainfall and handheld system, a bench, smart toilet, new cabinets, medicine mirror, and all new electrical up to code.

That’s the goal for us. Not just to make it look better, but to make sure it passes inspection.

This bathroom is less than 5 years old. Watch what happens when we touch the first tile.

Marble tile, looked brand new. One touch and it came right off. Circles of thinset on cement board, nothing bonded, nothing waterproofed. The previous owner installed it just to make the home look updated before selling. Now my client is paying to have it done right.

This is what cheap work done by an unprofessional costs you.

Your bathroom might look nice but that doesn’t mean it was built right.

We opened up this Jack and Jill in Bound Brook and found three stacked subfloors, thinset that was never spread correctly, a shower pan with the wrong pitch, and plywood with MDF in a wet area. Nothing on the surface told you any of that was there.

This is why what’s behind the wall matters more than what you see.

You wouldn’t believe this house looked completely different a few weeks ago.

New James Hardie siding, Azek trim, brick steps with aluminum railing, bluestone, a new sliding door, and a backyard platform. The old siding was destroyed. The steps were worn out. The backyard had nothing going on.

Rainfall shower with a Kohler soaking tub, porcelain tile walls, Quartz stone, and a new layout transformation. Every detail was done right.

This is the second bathroom done for our client and they are so happy that we will be back for their first floor next!

Second time this client called us. First her basement, now her bathroom.

We rebuilt the whole space. Two pocket doors, one for each bedroom, full bathroom with glass door, bench, hand showers, and handicap railings. Now both bedrooms have their own private access.

The goal was never just to make it look better. We made sure the space finally works the way it should.
