🍃 EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION — DESTINY! 🍃

We have to take a minute to give a HUGE shoutout to our Landscape Manager, Destiny! 💚

Destiny is going into her 4th year with Little Mitten, and we truly could not function the way we do without her. She is one of the most valued assets to this company and has shown us year after year just how hardworking, dependable and dedicated she is.

No matter what challenge we throw her way, Destiny steps up. She may not always know exactly how to do something the first time — but she’s NEVER afraid to try, learn and figure it out. And that’s one of the things we appreciate most about her!

She comes to work with a smile, gives 100%, and has become an absolute favorite of so many of our customers. 💚

Recently, with staff out for vacations and other obligations, we needed some extra help on the mowing side. Destiny accepted the challenge, hopped on a mower and took off like she’d been running one for months! 😂 She even got some pretty decent stripes going! 👏🏼🌱

From landscaping, leading crews, helping customers, jumping in wherever she’s needed and now apparently adding mower operator to her résumé 😂 — Destiny continues to prove just how valuable she is to the Mitten Crew.

We are SO grateful for everything you do, Destiny. Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, your willingness to learn and for sticking with us through all the crazy that comes with growing a small business.

We can’t wait to see how much more you continue to grow in the years to come. We’re lucky to have you! 💚🍃

🍃 **WE’RE HIRING — EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPE CREW MEMBER** 🍃

Little Mitten Landscape is looking to add an **experienced landscaper** to our crew who is ready to **start right away!**

We’re looking for someone who values **honesty, hard work, teamwork, and having a good time while getting the job done.**

**What we’re looking for:**
• Previous landscaping experience is a **MUST**
• References and previous employer information required
• Dependable and able to show up ready to work
• Able to work Monday–Friday with the occasional weekend
• Comfortable working outside in the **heat, rain, and cold**
• Physically able to be on your feet and working for **8+ hours a day**
• Able to bend, lift, shovel, rake, carry materials, and maintain a good work pace throughout the day
• Willing to work as part of a crew and take direction when needed
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

**At this point in our season, we are looking for someone who already has landscape experience and can jump in with our crew. We are not looking to train someone completely new right now.** We will be more open to training the right person later this fall.

💰 **Competitive pay based on experience, ability, and position.**

Hours vary depending on position, experience, ability, weather, and workload.

Okay, we CANNOT hold it in anymore!!!! 🥳

Have you met Sophie?!?!

Sophie is our new Administration Assistant, doer of all things paperwork, and apparently our new boss! Even the boss’s boss. Whoa! 😂

We are beyond grateful that Sophie has joined the Mitten Crew! She has already stepped up to the challenge, taken the reins, and is learning all things Little Mitten. She’s jumping right in and helping keep everything running smoothly!

So, if you reach out to us, you’ll now get to chat with Sophie! She’ll be helping with scheduling jobs, estimates, and so much more. 💚

Sophie has been working in the outdoor industry for over 8 years and has a LOT to bring to the table! She’s worked in nurseries, landscape companies, and more, and now she’s taking on the challenge of helping run one!

We want to give a HUGE WELCOME to the Mitten Crew, Sophie! 🎉 We cannot wait for all of our customers to get to know you more as another friendly voice and face of Little Mitten!

As always, I appreciate my staff more than I can put into words. Their hard work, dedication, and willingness to always learn, improve, and grow amazes me every day. Watching each one of them take on challenges and continue to get better at what they do is something I’m incredibly proud of.
