When the crew feels more like family, the work hits different.

Keith has been a cornerstone of this team for years, and he’s seen firsthand how the culture we build in the office translates to the grit we show on the jobsite.

For us, it’s not just about hitting the daily logs or clocking the most hours. It’s about having a team that shows up when the muscle is needed and stays until the job is done right.

That kind of consistency keeps the wheels turning and the crew covered.

We don’t just hire for a season; we invest in the people who are woven into the fabric of what we do.

Respect the hustle. Value the crew. 👊🏗️💪

Today, we’re pausing to honor the men and women who gave everything for this country.

Around here, we value grit and heart, but we know the true standard of sacrifice was set by those who served in uniform. Their dedication is the foundation that allows us to show up, do the work, and build for the future.

We lead with respect for the fallen and gratitude for the families they left behind.

We remember. 🇺🇸

THROWBACK THURSDAY: This throwback takes us to the Solano Wind Farm in Rio Vista, where the scale of the landscape required a heavy-duty approach to stabilization.

From above, you can see our crews locking in miles of terrain beneath the turbines to ensure the ground stays steady. Because this site is built for long-term power generation, we installed several different erosion control solutions- from hydroseeding to fiber rolls and blankets- to protect the land and keep the site functional for upgrades and improvements in the years to come.

This is the kind of hands-on work we do with a long-term payoff. A solid application then means a stable foundation for the future of NorCal’s energy infrastructure.

The difference between a job that holds and a site that washes out is what you have loaded on the truck before the weather hits. We don't believe in "good enough." We believe in being fully equipped with the right tools for the specific terrain.

Whether it’s stacking wattles for a steep perimeter or loading up for a full day of hydroseeding, our focus is on precision and preparation.

The right resources.
The right application.
Doing it right the first time.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just solid work that keeps your project moving forward. 👊🚛🌾

DID YOU KNOW: Staying in compliance isn’t just about checking a box. It’s about protecting your project’s bottom line from the "math that gets ugly fast."

The Cost of Non-Compliance:

Daily Penalties: Under the federal Clean Water Act, failing to satisfy erosion and sediment control requirements can lead to fines as high as $32,500 per day per violation.

California Enforcement: In our neck of the woods, the California Water Board can issue penalties starting at $10,000 per day for sites operating without proper coverage or a valid Notice of Intent (NOI).

Ramping Up: The EPA has intensified enforcement, concluding 2,127 civil cases in Fiscal Year 2025 (the highest number in nine years) and assessing over $652 million in civil penalties.

The "Stop Work" Risk: Beyond the fines, inspectors have the authority to issue Stop Work Orders, halting your entire project until the site is brought back into compliance.

Around here, we believe in doing it right the first time so you never have to deal with the second. One solid application of the right erosion control doesn't just protect the soil. It protects your schedule and your budget.

Built to hold. Built for compliance. 👊

The goal at Folsom Lake was clear: stabilize the dirt surrounding this new dam project before heavy rains hit.

Our crew applied Bonded Fiber Matrix (BFM) to provide immediate, high-performance protection. In a critical recreation area like this, there is no margin for error with sediment runoff or soil failure.

BFM was the specific tool for this job because it creates a continuous, porous "crust" that bonds directly to the soil surface. This prevents erosion on impact and holds the slope steady until vegetation can take over.

The right application for the terrain makes all the difference

Earth Day isn't just a date on the calendar for us- It's the reason we show up.

Every gallon of hydroseed and every yard of straw blanket is a line of defense for our region's soil and water.

We don't just talk about it. The work we do every day is in service to the Earth.

This is sustainability at work.

DID YOU KNOW: The solutions we install do much more than just stabilize slopes. They protects the next generation of Northern California’s wildlife.

According to NOAA Fisheries and aquatic research, even small increases in sediment can be devastating to local fish populations. When excess dirt washes into streams, it can "smother" gravel spawning beds, reducing the survival rates of salmon and trout eggs by significantly cutting off their oxygen supply.

The good news: We're on the job.

By locking down the soil on-site, we’re ensuring that nearby creeks and rivers stay clear. This allows cleaner spawning grounds:, keeping gravel beds free of silt so fish can reproduce.

It also allows for healthier fish, reducing turbidity (cloudiness) that can irritate and damage delicate fish gills.

We’re proud to do the work that keeps our local ecosystems thriving. It’s not just about meeting a requirement; it’s about protecting the natural resources we all enjoy.

Built to hold. Built to protect.

This green coat is more than just a badge of honor—it’s the line between a project moving forward and a site getting shut down.

When the stakes are high, there’s no room for shortcuts. We’re out here stabilizing soil to keep runoff in check and your jobsite in full compliance.

One solid application now saves a massive headache later. Done right, every single time.
