In HVAC installation, every project comes with different challenges — and sometimes the biggest challenge is not the installation itself, but access to the roof.
There are situations when installing a package unit or other rooftop equipment requires a massive crane because a standard crane simply cannot reach the location. In many cases, using a large crane means street closures, city permits, traffic coordination, and waiting 7–10 days for approvals. The cost of that operation alone can sometimes exceed the entire installation cost of the HVAC system.
This is where experience matters.
Instead of creating delays and unnecessary expenses for the customer, we find practical and cost-effective solutions. For this project, our team carefully disassembled the package unit into sections, transported everything safely to the roof, and completed the full installation in just one day — without street closures, without major delays, and without excessive crane costs.
