MONARCH BUTTERFLIES: Have you spotted the increase is migrating monarch butterflies?!? Fall is near and we are now officially into the peak of the Fall migration that will take many of these precious and delicate creatures nearly 3,000 miles to remote mountain forests of central Mexico!

Monarchs navigate using the sun and an internal biological clock and compass that still astound naturalists and scientists today. Triggered by shorter daylight and cooler weather, the migration that is underway will last well through October.

Milkweed is critical: Monarch caterpillars eat only milkweed, making it essential to sustaining the population. Right now, fuel for this incredible journey matters most. Monarch butterflies need nectar-rich flowers to build reserves for the long journey.

Safe travels to Mexico on this unique and one of a kind journey for the overwintering in central Mexico! 🙏❤️🙏

This is a proposed Conceptual Design

A concept for new entrance between two historic buildings created by Synthetic Architecture..
Designed as a museum entrance, the structure creates a contemporary connection between the two existing facades. The transparent envelope and flowing geometry guide visitors from the street into the building.

The design takes movement as its starting point, turning it into a visible architectural element through the structure's pattern and form.

A simple intervention that brings together old and new, transparency and movement.

The evolution of marble sculpture — when stone begins to breathe 🏛️✨

From the Early Renaissance to the late nineteenth century, marble sculpture reveals an extraordinary journey of artistic and technical mastery.

Early Renaissance sculptors revived the ideals of classical antiquity, focusing on balanced proportions, anatomical accuracy, and harmonious compositions. Over the centuries, artists continuously pushed the limits of marble, transforming a rigid block of stone into figures that seem to move, breathe, and feel.

With each generation, sculptors refined their ability to capture realistic anatomy, flowing drapery, expressive facial features, and dramatic movement. Delicate details such as soft skin, flowing hair, translucent fabrics, and subtle emotional expressions emerged from one of the hardest natural materials, creating the illusion that marble had become almost weightless.

By the nineteenth century, technical precision had reached remarkable heights. Sculptors achieved astonishing effects of transparency and texture, demonstrating how craftsmanship could overcome the apparent limitations of stone while preserving its timeless beauty.
