Do you see these Black babies? Why does Karmelo Anthony matter more than these sweet angels who were shot and killed?

Y’all don’t want him wasting his life in prison after stabbing and killing someone, but where is that same outrage for the innocent Black children being shot and killed in Chicago every single weekend?

Toddlers. Elementary school kids. Babies who never got the chance to grow up.

They don’t get national outrage. They don’t get marches. They don’t get people crying about “second chances.”

But Karmelo goes to prison, and suddenly everybody wants to scream injustice.

This was never about Black lives. Because if it was, these babies in Chicago would matter too.

Virginia Democrats are advancing a bill (a state legislative amendment) that would allow the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality to use “unmanned aircraft systems” (drones) without a warrant when enforcing certain environmental protection programs — including water resources, wetlands, erosion, and sediment control. 
• This amendment would add the Department of Environmental Quality to the list of government bodies permitted to use drones without a warrant in enforcement actions.
