While driving on 95 over the years we have all seen the very top, of an amazing contemporary, unique architectural structure. Thinking it had to be some type of church, I decided to stop and investigate it on my drive home from Florida this week. To my shocked surprise, it turned out to be the “National Marine Museum’. Created in a park environment; I have never seen anything more spectacular in my life. Dedicated to those amazing men and women, who were willing to sacrifice their life’s for us,to live in this beautiful country of ours, “AMERICA”!!!!! It Covers hundreds of acres of monuments, art, and the History of our Proud Marines. How heart rendering it displays the history and commitment these people, young and old, Americans who gave of their life and limbs to protect our freedom. The museum in structure itself, takes your breath away. It was closed as it was late in the day, but I assure you I will return, as we should to see the inside. They have created a historic walkway through history like none I’ve ever seen. The chapel brings tears to your eye’’s. Capturing men and moments of passion, dedication, commitment and love of our country, like you have never seen before. The Chapel, with it’s design and warmth hugs you when you enter. Statuary, walkways and history bring you to your knees being so proud of those people who have given us all our freedom. Thank you and I salute those who have given us, so much, life and limb, to protect our FREEDOM. “God Bless Them”and this great country we live in. “AMERICA”
