I copied and pasted this from Jason Tarwater s fb page. He was the driving force behind the Baby Box. Below are all the people who have come together to make it all happen💓

So many thank yous goes out to many people that have helped with this project it was something that a lot of people wanted to see happen and it is finally here. Mandi Williams Lassiter thank you for your crews outstanding work installing the box and getting it all up and running, and Brownd Electric and Matt Hardin for getting our electrical issues that were needed with this installation of the box. Southern safety out of Jonesboro on doing the security monitoring for us.
Thank you to Jenna Austin for letting us borrow your enclosed trailer to pick this up and get it back in the dry.
Thank you to our mayor Derrick Ratliffe and our city council for allowing Newport to have the opportunity to have such a wonderful thing added to our community.
Thank you to Jon Chadwell and the team at NEDC and the board of great people that gave a grant for this to happen.
So many thanks to Robin Coulter Caldwell and our own Hope Place Newport for there contribution that they gave towards this along with the money supporting the trip to go pick it up and get it back here. On behalf of the Newport Fire Department we would like to send out a huge thank you to all those that have helped who have prayed and gave to make this happen. Now at this moment we are in testing phase with the box, when we go live there will be a big announcement made and there will be a Blessing done on the box we will keep everyone aware of when that will be. Again Thank you to all that has made this happen.

We partnered with many AWESOME people to help install a “Safe Haven Baby Box” at Newport Fire Dept’s Main station. I’ve always been on the save the babies campaign. But, on this job we were finally able to physically help with that. Could not be happier with this project!
Many precious hearts involved!

Today we opened the doors for our family and friends ❤️ We wanted to honor Boss, the Minor family, and our family and friends. This entire project has the fingerprints of everyone present in this photo. We can’t thank you enough. We love you!

We’ll see you soon! 2 weeks till the doors open to the public!!!
