After a lot of prayerful consideration we have decided to close the doors of The Hickory Handyman. A lot has transpired over the past year that has kept us from providing the absolute best service to all of our customers and for the best interests of our family this is the difficult choice we had to make.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has supported our business and trusted us with your home repairs over the past 4+ years. I'm truly grateful for all of the opportunities that came from running this business and excited for where the future is headed. No one ever starts a business thinking it's not going to work out but sometimes God opens and closes doors so you can land where he truly needs you.

After navigating 🧭 a new direction, the tear down began full swing. The goal to now rebuild the exterior wall to support the roof, followed by the interior details for the kitchen originally requested. The end is coming 🔜 ‼️

This job 🚧 turned out to be a bigger project than anyone anticipated. Initially, this client reached out asking for a new vanity, and countertop to spice ✨ up their cabins kitchen area. Once laying eyes on it for a further inspection 👀, we found the front wall was actually rotting severely, to the point the roof was beginning to sag. ✍️ We then established a new game plan 📝, and quickly got to work. Stay tuned for updates!
