When Cairn University needed an emergency plumbing company due to multiple gas leaks, they called M.J. Shimp Mechanical. PECO shut down the gas, leaving over 40 students still on campus, without hot water or the use of their dining hall. We found and fixed multiple 2" gas line leaks and within 5 hours, we had them up and running again. M. J. Shimp Mechanical LLC opened our doors in January of 2005 and since then, has been a valued and trusted business within the Newtown community, as well as Bucks and the surrounding counties of Southeast Pennsylvania.

Owner, Mark Shimp is a licensed Master Plumber with more than 29 years experience in the plumbing, heating and utility trades. Following Marks lead, our employees are also required to attend vocational school while they complete their Apprenticeship. Upon graduating the 4 year program, they continue to work towards a Journeyman’s license and ultimately their Masters as well.
