This is hail damage on a roof.

In our area it is very rare for this to happen.

We are working with our customer and her insurance to make sure the insurance company pays what is fair for this damaged roof.

There is a misconception that your rates will go up if you do make a claim. That is false when it comes to weather situations aka “Acts of God”.

We marked out a section of shingles that’s damaged, but!! The for sure tell is what we call soft metal damage.

Soft metals are generally aluminum such as gutters, ridge vent or flashing. It is very clear the dents caused by the hail.

Screen damage can be another area that shows damages

For everyone worried about the storm, this is a great page to follow for the facts.

With all the hype that we get sometimes all we need are the facts. Then we can make our own educated decisions.

It does look like it will track further east, but like when Michael hooked it’s usually the middle of the night while we’re sleeping.

We’re still expecting to get rain which will put delays in our roofing world, but we’ll be ready to tackle everything after the storm!

Latest Monday afternoon runs here on tropicaltidbits.com. Keeping timing the same and general track ideas the same. All Thursday. Important thing to note with any tropical system, especially this one. Can't focus on the center line. Impacts likely will reach far and wide from center. East side especially.
