There's a stretch of Lake in the Hills where the homes have been standing for decades, and this bathroom finally caught up to everything else the family loved about theirs.

Sage green took over the vanity first. Shaker Sage cabinets from J&K Cabinetry give the room a color that doesn't shout, and Da Vinci Gold Quartz on top brings in just enough movement to keep things from feeling flat. The floor tells its own story, Palmetto Walnut Wood Tile from MSI Surfaces mimics real hardwood, built to handle steam and splashes for years.

Then the shower opens up entirely differently. Agadir Glazed Porcelain covers the walls in a soft, handmade texture that catches light in a new way depending on the time of day, and Calacatta Gold Matte Hexagon Tile underfoot keeps the marble-inspired veining going all the way down. A built-in bench and grab bars turned out to matter just as much as the tile choice, this shower was built to be lived in, not just looked at.

If your own bathroom has been waiting its turn, schedule a design consultation with 4Ever Remodeling and let's figure out what it's ready to become.

Every detail tells the story in this whole home remodel. Brushed gold fixtures against crisp white porcelain in the bathrooms. Rich, veined tile flowing through the hallways and connecting every room. A powder room wrapped in bold geometric wallpaper that turns a small space into a statement. A gold rainfall shower system that feels more spa than sink.

None of it happens without a plan. Every finish, fixture, and material gets chosen during Design Studio Selections, long before installation day, so the whole home feels considered from room to room instead of stitched together.

Loving what you see? Schedule a consultation and let's start designing your own whole home remodel.

Wood Dale homeowners came to us needing more square footage. The result is a full addition that raised the roofline and pushed the footprint back, giving the home an entirely new upstairs level and a redesigned lower level to match.

Inside, one of the new rooms became a home office and library that actually works for how the homeowners live day to day. Built-in cabinetry runs wall to wall, floor to ceiling, with open shelving for books and closed storage for everything else. Natural light pours in through a pair of oversized windows, and the wide plank flooring ties the new space back to the rest of the house so it never feels like an addition tacked on after the fact.

If your home needs more space to work with, schedule a consultation and let's talk about what's possible.

This Evanston basement is proof that the best remodels happen in stages you never see once the drywall goes up. Right now our crew has electrical roughed in and accessible, framing squared away for the staircase, and a laundry nook with plumbing lines set exactly where the homeowners need them. Down the hall, the bathroom walls are wrapped in Durock cement board, ready for tile, while stacks of NuCore flooring sit staged and waiting for install day.

This is what happens between the consultation and the final walkthrough, the part of the process where a rough concrete floor slowly turns into a finished lower level built for how this Evanston family actually wants to use their home. If your basement has been sitting unfinished, schedule a design consultation and let's talk about what it could become.

Two bathrooms, two completely different personalities, both remodeled in the same home. That's the fun of a multi-bathroom project, each space gets to do its own thing.

The first bathroom leaned warm and textural, fluted wood paneling running up the shower walls and behind the toilet, a green vanity with brushed nickel hardware, and a walk-in shower with a built-in niche shelf for everyday essentials. The second bathroom took a softer, more classic direction, sage subway tile in the shower and tub surround, a wood vanity with brushed gold fixtures, and an arched brass mirror that pulls the whole palette together. Two bathrooms, one home, and neither one looks like an afterthought.

That's the difference between remodeling a bathroom and remodeling a home with intention. Every finish, every fixture, and every tile pattern gets mapped out during Design Development so each room earns its own character while still feeling like it belongs to the same house. If your bathrooms are ready for their own upgrade, schedule a design consultation and let's talk through what's possible.

A whole home remodel doesn't stop at one room. This Berwyn project covered the kitchen, living room, a bedroom, two bathrooms, and the basement, all planned and built together instead of tackled one at a time.

The kitchen went sage green with a copper farmhouse sink and a black gas range that anchors the whole layout. The living room got a fireplace wall with custom built-ins on either side, floating shelves, and a live edge wood mantel that ties the wood tones together. The bedroom feels bigger just from the flooring running continuous and the closet getting reworked for real storage. One bathroom kept things classic with white subway tile and a brushed gold rain shower, while the other went bold with deep red walls, an arched mirror, and patterned tile underfoot. Downstairs, the basement was finished into open, functional living space with its own laundry setup.

This is what design-build under one roof looks like when a whole home moves together. Every material decision got mapped out in Design Development before a single crew showed up. Ready to see what your own space could hold? Schedule a design consultation and let's talk about it.

A classic Chicago layout, reworked to actually work. This Lincoln Square kitchen kept its character, white subway tile to the ceiling, open wood shelving, quartz counters, and a green accent wall that gives the whole space personality.

A gas range anchors the cook space, and the little dining nook by the back door catches all the morning light.

4Ever Remodeling maps every project in 3D during Design Development before construction starts. Ready to see what your kitchen could look like? Link in bio to get started.

Some people may not see blue tile as a safe choice, but it was the right one for this bathroom remodel!

Vertical ceramic tile in a soft coastal blue runs floor to ceiling, giving this shower a calm, layered feel instead of one flat wall of color. A recessed niche breaks up the surface without adding visual clutter, and a sleek linear drain keeps the pebble tile floor looking clean and uninterrupted. The frameless glass enclosure with brushed brass hardware pulls it all together, letting the tile do the talking while the fixtures stay quiet and modern.

At 4Ever Remodeling, moments like this come out of Design Development, where 3D renderings let homeowners see the tile, the hardware, and the layout together before any of it gets installed. No guessing how a color will read in the room. No surprises on install day.

Ready to see your own bathroom this clearly before it's built? Schedule a design consultation and let's start the process.
