Dangerous heat is coming late week and into the weekend. These are forecast heat index values, which honestly, given the amount of rain we've seen & how wet the soil is, may be underdone. I am trying to give you advanced notice to plan ahead. This is not only nasty heat for those outdoors, but also livestock/pets.

From the kick off to several area fairs, to weekend wedding/garage sales/outdoor events, make sure you have a plan in place to stay cool this weekend. Go to the lakes, movie theaters, etc. Actual air temperatures will be in the middle 90s, with dew points in the upper 70s (yuck!).
