Friends, my page has been quiet for many months, but life has not...
Last summer we got the news that my wife, Sarah, had a large brain tumor. One of the biggest shocks you can have in life. We prepared and she had a successful surgery to remove 99% of it just over 2 months ago. And then just over a month ago, we got the news that it was an aggressive type of cancer, even though it appeared to be slow growing. We have made some big changes to our daily lives and are working out treatment and the road ahead. I'm so proud of the steps Sarah has taken to battle this and win! Most would think this is enough of a struggle a family should have at one time, but no l guess we were made to handle more. This week while installing replacement windows, I tore my bicep tendon! I've never had an injury like this in my life. I will be out of commission for weeks/months. I thankfully have already secured a surgeon and will have an operation next week. We are thankful for the support many of you have provided over the years in that I could serve you with your home projects. We are thankful support that many of you have provided while Sarah has been fighting this cancer. And we are humbled by the support that has already come in since my injury yesterday! Thank you from the deepest of our hearts! The future is unknown, except that we know we have great friends and a mighty God!
