Judge Loren Alikhan for the offshore wind turbine case has ruled in favor of Dominion Power (of course, payoff possible?) (https://ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/Opinions.pl?2024) they were fighting for the Right whale instead, they should have been fighting for the bay and the ocean.
The current technology for power-generating windmills is not ready for the ocean, which is harder to maintain. They do not have landside windmills ready yet they can overspeed and destroy the blades, and the tower and they carry between 80 and 700 gallons of oil, and you have to change the oil out in the ocean, oil leaks are notorious for starting fires inside. they kill birds and disturb wildlife with the vibrations produced. The blades are becoming recyclable there are a couple companies making strides but mostly
they go to landfills. So it is all about money, do not complete this project until more is known please call your congresspeople and senators to stop this.
