This remodel included new lighting, power, electrical equipment, fire alarm, speaker system, and low-voltage Cat 6 cabling.

This project consisted of relocating existing light fixtures, installing new power feeds, and completing the electrical work required for the new remodel.

Congratulations to the Blackout Electric team for successfully completing the Skechers project in Virginia Beach, Virginia! ⚡️

Our apprentices learned more on this single project than many electricians experience in an entire career. This job provided hands-on training with:

• Installing a new step-down transformer
• Installing an isolated ground bar
• Wiring lighting contactors
• Installing relays
• Programming time clocks
• Installing override switches
• Bending conduit
• Understanding and applying voltage drop calculations

This project was a true team effort from start to finish, and I’m proud of everyone who helped make it a success.

We’re already hard at work on the next project—stay tuned for what’s coming next!
