Yeah, this year has been s**t.. But the love,.. Oh, the love- it is real.
But hey look! Look right there! Can’t ya see it! It’s next year! I haven’t been this close to next year in.. God, it’d have to be almost a year now.. can ya believe it? But there it is.., Damn it’s bigger than I remember..

A beautiful remodel on a residential pool. The client is an architect and as much as I wish I could say I designed that amazing 3D effect on the black and white band around that pool coping, but we did turn his ideas into a reality and the clients were extremely pleased and still host the annual summer party for the neighborhood! And I’m glad that we were able to help!

This was a stamped concrete project that was spalling throughout. We gave it a complete topping removal to get below the degraded areas so we could guarantee the chemical bonding of new overlay. We also poured a new rounded step for the back door as they had quite a drop down to patio and pool deck. We also clear coated the fire pit and seating areas because they were faded and look dull- but it is popping now!!
The project turned out great and was completed just in time for a 50+ birthday party they are hosting on their brand new outdoor area!

Another fine job completed for Onelife Fitness! We completely remodeled the indoor saltwater pool deck in Portsmouth and they liked it so much they contracted us to renovate the front entrance to their gym located in Norfolk. They had outdated epoxy rock that was deteriorated and bond failed throughout entire area. It looked like hell and what’s worse, it was creating very dangerous trip hazards for customers. We came in and did a complete topping removal and remodeled the entire entranceway and we did it in just ONE day! After demo, prep and repairs…. We applied a simple, yet durable and esthetically pleasing commercial texture and color that turned out wonderfully! They thought so highly about this remodel and turn around time that they have already contracted us for other interior concrete revitalizations needed at this location!

Hiring labor for decorative concrete overlay business in Oceanview- $15hr cash to start- we hold one day back and starting second day, paid cash daily…, More for experience- Basic scope of work includes grinding concrete, pressure washing, taping and papering up, mixing buckets of concrete etc.

Must be able to withstand the heat and have strong back and knees as well. If you have a bad back or knees or aren’t used to the heat, it probably won’t be the position for you- also, if you have a hard drug habit or need to drink alcohol at work, this isn’t for you either-

Customer had existing patio with outdoor carpet, then installed an extension onto the patio. The outdoor carpet was removed and mastic remained. So, we removed the mastic to ensure proper bonding and brought the whole project together with a texture and seal. We added a band all around the lower patio that really made the project pop.

Customer was having terrible spalling and bond failure on existing overlay so we did a topping removal demo and crack repair, then built the substrate up to match existing grade and textured 1/2 the project to match existing design and color sealed the project.

Pool Deck remodel and repair for Dominion Pools in Portsmouth. They rolled the dice and poured the pool deck on a rainy day—. Ugh! There was pitting, spalling, and a layer of slurry not bonded to concrete- all this due to rain on pour day…. But, we made all necessary repairs and now the deck is looking even better than they originally anticipated!
