Prime Architects Awarded Statewide HHSC IDIQ Contract for Professional Architectural Services
San Antonio, Texas — April 2026 — Prime Architects announced today that it has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) under RFQ HHS0016475 for the provision of professional architectural services statewide.

The award authorizes Prime Architects to provide architectural planning, design, and related professional services in support of HHSC and its associated programs across the State of Texas. The IDIQ contract vehicle enables HHSC to issue future work authorizations on an as‑needed basis for projects varying in scope and complexity.

“This award reflects HHSC’s confidence in our firm’s qualifications, technical expertise, and proven experience delivering public‑sector healthcare and civic facilities,” said Gene Lavastida, President and Program Manager of Prime Architects. “We are honored to support HHSC’s mission and look forward to contributing thoughtful, durable, and cost‑effective architectural solutions that serve communities across Texas.”

Prime Architects brings extensive experience in public sector, healthcare, and institutional design, with a focus on regulatory compliance, lifecycle performance, and client‑driven outcomes. Under the IDIQ contract, the firm may support a range of architectural services including facility assessments, planning, design, and construction administration, as requested by HHSC through individual task orders.

Prime Architects designed these spacious residential townhomes in Oklahoma City. These townhomes are located in the Classen Ten-Penn District and provide a modern and comfortable living experience. Prime was hired by a private developer to transform a small, empty corner lot into a stylish and convenient place to live. The project resulted in the creation of six individual units. Each unit utilized a three-level floor plan with shared parking on the ground level and two levels of living space above.
