We took this job over roughly 30% completed and took it to the finish line. Amazing project to be a part of. I'll post more photos soon!

A clubhouse at one of Oklahoma City's most popular public golf courses is reopening, and the community is invited to come take a look at its brand new facilities.

Part 2 moved 16 bin-blocks, can't just set them eyeball with old man OCD, used string line to get them lined up nicely. Spread additional 4 loads of rock... Spent 3.5 hours with a vibratory drum packing the entire place. Fun, challenging project spreading rock over ungraded, uneven and dual sloping terrain, but very pleased with the end result.

Part 1 of 3 of pad-magedon. This was the lowest part of this project, called for 1000+ yards of fill. I worked along side another company that was contracted to dig out the detention pond, used dirt from it on the initial lifts. Then trucked in material from all over the site. I think the back was done in 7-8 lifts, it's been 6+ months since this was initially completed. A lot of grading, compacting, waiting on rain, more grading but was able to get this done and looking prestine..... Then plans changed months later and building was moved to the opposite side of lot, pics to follow

Before & after of parking lot. Cut over a foot of hard clay, only had trust 289d3 on site, but got it dug out and graded to a 10th in about a days time. These are roughly 6000-8000' sq feet. Also dug out both approaches. This is one of 9 I've done in the past 18 months.

Before & after of a 110 x 80 commercial pad that had 1000+ cubic yards of dirt piled up before I started.
These pads are required to be graded within 1/10th of a foot, roughly 1 3/8" flat the entire area, thank god for the Cat GB124 grader with Trimble Earthworks Go.
This was quite the challenge of moving dirt off the site initially. Dozed myself a small path for an end dump semi, and began the daunting task of taking dozens of loads to surrounding sites.
The elevation difference to the neighboring building is 3.5' that's roughly 15' away. This was the most time consuming building pad so far at Legend Development. Turned out great after many days working solo. Repurposed all the dirt for "pad-mageddon" across the street. Next post will show the parking lot cut and graded.

I've totally neglected my Instagram page, will be posting dozen or more before/after from jobs over the past year.

This was a fun project for one of my best friends, an amazing home builder, and all around phenomenal dude .adam &

Took this overgrown, totally eroded and poorly graded commercial building space and after 40+ loads of red select and few days had it looking like a totally new place. Installed proper size entrance, drainage culvert, few loads of rock. Built up the surrounding area about 4' high and 30' out. Fun project, always enjoy working with Bear Creek!

Transformed this commercial lot from landfill dump site to a clean, smooth 6 acre area for local concrete company LE Concrete & Paving. Fantastic guy to work for, enjoyed this job, not every day you get to move, hide, bury 1000cy of concrete, asphalt and tree debris! Grateful for the work!

Heartfelt thanks to all my friends, family, and clients that reached out today under the impression we were closing up shop, means the world!
On the contrary, we've grown! Jobs began transitioning to larger residential, smaller - medium commercial last year, I found myself renting or needing larger equipment, and realized a lot of current equipment is barely being used! I dummed into a great deal on Dozer, truck and trailer through a godsend Wendy, WLH trucking (call her for all your trucking needs, she's amazing). I then started the initial process of specing new skid steer, but it became apparent within a few phone calls supply is non-existent, I priced the 4 big brands we have here, but Chance @ Warren cat was head, neck, torso above anyone else, Warren cat has new life long customer!

Recently a phone conversation with an amazing guy helped me realize the type/size of machines that would benefit me, and speaking from first hand experience made me realize bigger (more "stuff", machines, job types) isn't always better, in fact I believe it's much worse in today's climate of fuel cost, machine cost and availability! A 90 minute conversation made me realize I'm only 1 person, and if stars align I'm able to be in a machine working 14-15 days a month, max. I can own 10 machines, all the cool stuff, but end of the day it all costs soooooo much money, and I can't be in all of them!!! People see a nice diesel truck, and piece of equipment and think I'm pooping out gold turds, the reality is I've reinvested almost every dime into machines, attachments, maintenance items, spent so much more money and day 365, fiscally I'm right where I started, so time to shed a bunch of extra weight, concentrate on what I can do well, and keep pushing in 2022!!

Biggest thanks goes out to my dime piece wife who not only beautiful, puts up with me, but can drive across the city, hop in a piece of equipment to move it, will come to my jobsite and spend all of "her time" in a machine, helping make a dent! I'm beyond blessed!

Also huge thanks to all my supportive friends, family, and customers... Without you all I'd never be able to do this!

I decided to rebrand my company (Formerly Hook & Ladder Earthworx). Nothing more than a formality, but I felt like it was a good idea to rebrand beginning 2022. My business has absolutely boomed this year thanks to so many of you sharing referrals, sharing my information with friends and family, and I'll never be able to show enough gratitude to everyone that has supported me, my small business, and thus my family!!
I have recently grown our fleet of equipment and attachments with the purchase of a D5G dozer, and Volvo tractor with a step deck trailer that will increase efficiency.
God has blessed myself and family in unmeasurable ways over the last few years. We started this business and journey out of necessity to claw our way out of an unfortunate failed business venture that looking back I was a naive idiot taking on, but in doing so this business was formed and I found something I enjoy working insane days and long hours!
Failure is part of life unfortunately, but it doesn't have mean defeat! Those close to us know the time and sacrifice behind the scenes of new business, one that I'm basically a one man show, although my amazing wife is always there to lend a hand, again one of gods biggest blessings in my life!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas, holiday season. We recently embarked on a massive commercial project that will take the majority of 2022, but we're always open to bidding jobs and fitting them in when possible! Keep pushing, have a great safe new year and thank you again to all that have made this possible!
