🥶 CSRA Ice Storm Alert – Protect Your Home & Roof

With an ice storm expected across the CSRA, now is the time to prepare your home — especially your roof.

At Brighter Side Roofing, we want our neighbors to stay safe and avoid preventable damage. A few quick steps can make a big difference:

✔️ Clear Gutters & Downspouts
Make sure leaves and debris are removed so melting ice can drain properly. Blocked gutters can lead to ice dams, which may force water under shingles and into your home.

✔️ Inspect Overhanging Branches
Ice adds significant weight to limbs. Dead or weak branches hanging over your roof can snap and cause serious roof or gutter damage.

✔️ Watch for Interior Warning Signs
After the storm, check ceilings, attic areas, and walls for stains or moisture — early signs of roof or flashing damage.

Ice damage isn’t always visible from the ground, but small issues can quickly turn into leaks.

Georgia residence, I promise you Georgia power and partners have hundreds if not thousands of workers staged at the James Brown Arena working around the clock to get electricity back for everybody. Carolina friends, Dominion has 700 men working in this area to restore power. Compass for hope is proud to offer all of our facilities to help those brave men and women get showers and take care of their laundry while they are displaced here trying to restore our electricity
