Big shout out to the client on this one. Going for real walnut. Instead of the ole “let’s do pine or oak and stain it in walnut “. Also the trust in my abilities. Not only to pick great quality pieces of lumber to make this mantel. But also to make some beautiful pieces out of very high quality less milled lumber. This piece will look amazing once it has some natural “stain” to bring out the natural qualities of the wood. Apparently Facebook won’t let me mix photos and videos.
