Calling this one, The Hobart Horse Fence. Slate colored solid stain to match existing fence. Turned out great.

Been awhile since we've treated our loyal fanbase to some fresh fence content. Good news, the wait is finally over. However, this fence, is clearly not a fence, it is in fact, a railing. We decided this railing could pass as fence content after it was referred to as "that little deck fence" by a carpenter who helped on this project.

Whatever you want to call it, we're very happy with the way this project turned out. It was built exclusively with cedar lumber and finished with a clear, transparent sealer. This project was also part of a deck repair in several locations which gave us the opportunity to make the main gate stand out with a darker decking board to highlight the entryway.

As always, we will make an album with more photos of this project in the coming days. we will also be posting photos of other recent projects in the coming days. Some of our other recent projects include full sized fences, not connected to decks. So, if this little deck fence wasn't quite the content you subscribed for, no need to worry. More fences right around the corner.

Never Got the opportunity to showcase this deck we built last summer. I know everyone from our team enjoyed working on this one even when some of the details were labor intensive.. Still Booked out for the next couple of months but were about ready to open conversations with anyone interested in starting the design process for summer 2025 decks. If you're thinking ahead about a custom deck this year it pays off to get some of the details squared away before the season kicks off.
