Christmas shopping yesterday got us talking about the upcoming winter snow removal season. Alex (14) was excited, exclaiming he’s “READY. Ready to clear some snow for neighbors and make some money.”

One thing you’re doing when you support young, local entrepreneurs, is you are helping them learn important skills and work ethic in addition to money. Jake’s goal this summer is to earn funds to help pay his way through the Central Honors Institute he was just accepted into. He had already applied for scholarships to attend, but is banking on his business to help supplement what isn’t covered.
