Immediate opening for a full time, long term Electrical Forman/Mechanic in Northern NJ. Our family-owned business is looking for an upbeat, reliable person with the drive to oversee all aspects of a job site, while managing a crew of 1-3 electricians in their performance, safety and productivity. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of forman/mechanic experience and has extensive knowledge of a variety of residential and commercial electrical networks.
Responsibilities:
Organize, delegate, and lead within required guidelines, company protocols and projected timeframes
Run an efficient, safe job site
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Follow established procedures
Maintain project documentation, as required
Demonstrate ongoing knowledge of OSHA standards
Ensure adequate safety equipment/materials provided for crew and job site
Be able to motivate and instruct crew
Maintain positive, open lines of communication with crew, customer and supervisor
Perform service calls when called upon
Completion of electrical installations, troubleshooting and maintenance
Qualifications:
Must have previous Foreman/Mechanic experience
Knowledge of the NEC codes and standards
Ability to perform all duties of the Journeyman and Foreman
Physically capable of performing all aspects of job duties
Mandatory Requirements (Electrical Foreman/Mechanic):
10 years in the electrical industry with residential and commercial work experience
5 years Forman/Mechanic experience
US Citizen
