The summer is coming to a close and the bees are just looking forward to some cooler evenings.

The bees are booming. The 2 Big hives are big but they chomped up most of the honey. Hoping the golden rod rebounds their honey stores and maybe in a couple weeks I can harvest a small honey crop. The split is queen right! She’s still small and growing but I think they’ve got a good shot for making the winter stretch.

Hot days and summer nights are rocking for the ladies of Hobbomock apiary. I think the devastation on the Giant has been good for forage. They are doing really well.
