Over the next few days, we are facing dangerously low temperatures with wind chills reaching as low as -55°F. These conditions are not just uncomfortable they are lifethreatening.

⚠️ What this means for everyone:
• Frostbite can occur in minutes. At wind chills this low, exposed skin can begin freezing in under 5 minutes.
• Hypothermia risk is extreme, even with winter clothing.
• Vehicles and equipment are more likely to fail, including batteries, hydraulics, fuel gelling, and brake systems.
• Road conditions can change rapidly with blowing snow and reduced visibility.

If you don’t have to be out please stay home. Travel only if it is absolutely necessary or an emergency.
