Progress continues on the Sidewalks to Schools project for the Independence School District. Our team is adding and improving sidewalks at Cassell Park Elementary and Mill Creek Elementary, including new ADA ramps and pavement markings to create safer, more accessible routes for students and families.

Yvonne Starks Wilson Park has a new look.

Recent improvements include a new inclusive playground, picnic shelter, restroom building, basketball court, multi purpose field, paved trail, and expanded parking. More than a park improvement, this project creates a space where families can gather, kids can play, and the community can connect while honoring the legacy of the late Senator Yvonne Starks Wilson.
