Built this double retaining wall system earlier this year and it completely changed the entire back yard layout.

This project gave the homeowners a clean, usable space while solving a major grade transition around the house. The curved upper wall, lower wall, and matching caps tied everything together perfectly and gave the property a much more finished look.

We will be back next spring to start on the other side of the house.

Projects like this take a lot more than just stacking block. Proper excavation, base prep, drainage, and layout are what make walls like this last long term.

Looking forward to getting the other wall done and fully transform this area.

Good progress on this project today. Got the border fully cut in, knocked out the majority of the wall, set the columns, and spent time dialing in a lot of the smaller detail work. Also planning out a few new additions we’ll be tying into the project soon. Starting to really come together 🔥

Another massive outdoor living space coming together 🔥

This custom Techo-Bloc patio is getting close to the finish line and the transformation has been incredible. Premium base prep, clean layout work, sharp border details, and a design built to last for years.

Another incredible outdoor space wrapped up in Coralville. 🔥

This project pushed us hard with weather delays, mud, and long days on site but the end result made every bit of it worth it. We completely transformed this backyard with a massive grade correction, retaining walls, custom stair system, and a premium Techo-Bloc patio built to last.

The patio features Techo Blu 60 in Shale Grey with an Onyx Black Villagio border, finished off with a custom seat wall, recessed lighting, and a clean grey/black color scheme that looks phenomenal.

Proud of the TLC crew for grinding through the conditions and delivering a high-end final product.

The most important part of any retaining wall or patio is what you don’t see; excavation and base prep. That’s what ensures this project performs long-term.

This one is going to be a high-end outdoor living space when it’s complete.

Another project we’re excited to get started on soon! This backyard will feature a custom paver patio with a fire pit, curved seating wall with built-in lighting, and a walkway connecting it back to the house.

In order to make the space functional, we’ll also be installing a retaining wall and completely regrading the yard to create a flat, usable area for the patio.

Looking forward to bringing this design to life and turning this backyard into a space the homeowners can truly enjoy. 🔥🏡
