Phriday Phun with Phinality!
Well, this set of oak doors have been severely damaged due to the elements. The solid wood has scalloped, the original finish has failed, and the overall look and function is unacceptable. We were asked to take “That” and turn it into “This”, a high gloss lacquer style Dutch Door finish. There is still work to be done but we plan on getting to the Phinish line soon☺️. Stay tuned for the installation.
P.S. this project is not for the light hearted.

Laying down that first coat of plaster. Another coat will be added and then we will hand rub the walls with 00 steel wool to create a silky smooth finish.
