Seeing cluster flies around your windowsills? 🪰

They often gather near windows when they’re trying to find warmth and light. If you’re starting to notice them inside, there may be more hiding in walls, attics, or other areas of your home.

If they’re becoming a nuisance, give Mr. D’s a call.

As temperatures start dropping, pests like rodents, voles, and other critters start looking for somewhere warm to spend the winter. 🐭

Here are 3 things you can do around your home this fall:

1️⃣ Seal up gaps. Check around doors, windows, vents, and utility openings for places pests could get inside.

2️⃣ Clean up around the house. Move firewood, leaves, and other debris away from the foundation to reduce hiding spots.

3️⃣ Keep up with exterior treatments. Fall treatments can help add another layer of protection before winter sets in.

Still seeing rodents, voles, or other pests around your home? Give Mr. D’s a call and let’s get them under control.

Wasps, especially yellowjackets, are a lot more aggressive this time of year.

They show up around food, trash, and anywhere people are, which is why they become a real nuisance during things like fishing trips or backyard picnics. Once you’re seeing them regularly, there’s usually a nest close by.

That’s not something to ignore. If you see them nearby, that’s your sign to call us.

We don’t believe in doing the bare minimum. 🙌

Showing up, doing the job right, and going above and beyond when it counts. If you’ve experienced that with us, we’d love for you to leave a review on Google or Facebook.

As soon as it starts getting colder, rodents start looking for somewhere warm. 🐭

Homes, garages, sheds. Anywhere they can get out of the weather. And once they find a way in, it doesn’t take long before it becomes a problem.

That’s why our Home Protection Plans are built to handle both the outside and inside, so you’re covered from both sides.

Wasps get a lot more aggressive this time of year. 😱

Their natural food sources start to drop off while their colonies are at their peak, which means they’re out searching harder and showing up in places you don’t want them.

That’s when stings become a lot more common.

If you’ve been noticing more activity around your home, now’s the time to act. We can step in and get it under control before it turns into a bigger problem.

Barefoot in the grass, rolling around, and running everywhere.

That’s the kind of backyard you want for your kids. But a lot of people still think ticks aren’t something we deal with in Alaska. Truth is, non-native ticks do show up, and some can carry diseases like Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

It’s not talked about much, but it’s something to be aware of.

That’s where we come in. We can help you stay ahead of it so your yard stays a place you feel good about.
