As temperatures warm up and emergency freeze-ups & no heat calls become less common, our after-hours emergency services are now closed for the season.

Right now, our crew consists of two truly amazing technicians - one excellent plumber and one outstanding heat tech. Because we’re running short staffed, we’re currently at capacity and can’t take on as much work as we normally do.

We know that’s not ideal, and we genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience. Our dispatcher works hard to fit in urgent needs whenever possible, especially for our loyal & frequent customers, but availability is extremely limited at the moment.

Arctic Plumbing & Heating is looking to add an experienced, dependable professional to our team. We’re seeking a Journeyman Plumber / Heating Technician with a strong plumbing background. Experience with heating, especially Navien Natural Gas boilers is a major plus.

Position Requirements

• Alaska Journeyman Plumber License
• 5+ years of plumbing experience
• Natural gas and oil boiler experience
• Gas piping certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Hydronic heating system knowledge
• Combustion analyzer experience
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay up to $75/hour (DOE)
