Our season has kicked off and we have been busy completing spring clean ups. One aspect of spring clean ups that many don’t think about is edging which is not only nice to look at but has an important purpose. We pride ourselves in good quality work but we want people to also understand why it matters.

Why is edging important you ask?

1. Edging acts as a w**d and grass control. It acts as a root barrier preventing invasive grass and w**ds from entering garden beds.

2. Edging provides protection to plants by creating a physical edge helping protect plants from lawnmowers and string trimmers.

3. Edging also supports the structural integrity of areas with mulch, soil, or gravel. It creates a contained edge preventing erosion and keeping landscaping material in place in instances of rainy weather.

Not only that, but it gives a strong enhanced aesthetic appearance of your property making it look refined and polished.

These pictures are of a simple form of edging that require no additional materials or barriers but still fulfill the importance of the work.

Long story short-make sure your beds are edge-it will go a long way!
