“Employees must wash hands before returning to work”
We read this in nearly every public restroom, don’t we? 🤔
We trust employees are doing so because it’s posted for everyone to read.
But what if they don’t? 🤢
After we wet our hands, we push the soap dispenser trusting that there is soap there.
Don’t we?
But what if there’s no soap? ☹️
After we lathered our hands with the soap and washed them free with warm water, we reach for the towel dispenser to dry our wet hands.
Right?
But again, what happens when there are no towels? 😖
It’s inconvenient isn’t it?
A little gross?
You may feel like steps were missed if you couldn’t properly wash hands. 😠
Growing up in the restaurant industry, no matter which company I worked for at the time, the golden role was to keep the restrooms stocked and clean.
Why?
BECAUSE THATS WHERE THE PUBLIC COULD ACCESS!!
If the bathroom was dirty, what does the kitchen look like that prepared your food⁉️
We assume that businesses would give us the needed items to properly do a simple task such as wash our hands. And if they don’t, we generally tell someone right? 🗣️
Now for a second, let’s compare the claim process with a trip to the restroom.
Insurance companies have sone pretty comical commercials. 😜
Catchy songs and phrases. 🙃
A memorable theme. 💭
Come on, you know them; “you’re in good hands, like good neighbor…, we are on your side, you’re covered for that!” 😡
This is their “sign in the bathroom”‼️
Let’s treat your shingles and felt, the basics of a roof replacement as the water is the basics of washing your hands.
Your flashing and vents are the soap.
This is what truly keeps the roofong system going.
Don’t use the soap (change out all flashings and vents), you now just have wet hands. 👎
You expect your hands to get dry right?
This is the price.
Your deductible.
Truth is, most adjusters will claim your contractor is too high and refuse to budge.
They will leave you standing there, holding onto an invoice, with wet hands, while you frantically try to get them dry. 😱
When you need to a file a claim to repair your #1 investment, you are expecting to receive the type of service that is advertised, correct? 👍🏻
They spent literally billions of dollars in advertising and marketing to make you feel this way. (Just count the insurance commercials in the upcoming Super Bowl if you don’t believe me) 🧐
But what happens when they do the complete opposite? 🤷♂️
If you’re a homeowner who needs to use your pre-paid service (insurance), don’t let them tell you to wipe off your hands on your pants and call it a day.
Make them restock thier restrooms. 🧻
Tell them to do thier job and to let the experts in construction do theirs
If you do this, you will walk out of the restroom with not only clean hands, but dry hands as well, so you confidently give your friend who you haven’t seen in years a firm handshake before grabbing that Dr Pepper fountain drink and beaver nuggets. 🥳
And don’t forget to tell your friend how Brian Hammerhead gave you an excellent experience 😉
