Two excavators. One pipe. 45,000 pounds moving across a jobsite like it’s Tuesday.

That’s seven adult elephants. 300 grizzly bears. 9 million pennies — none of which we accepted as payment.

Two-point pick, one on each end, operators in sync the whole way. Looks easy. It’s not.

This is the kind of work our crews do without making a big deal out of it. Precise rigging, coordinated lifts, heavy iron doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Senior leadership is on the ground with the RP and ARCO/Murray crew. Always good to be out in the field seeing the work firsthand.

Large‑diameter ductile iron going in — flanged fittings, wye’s, reducers, restraint glands. This is the kind of piping work that takes real, hands‑on experience to get right, and our guys know what they’re doing.

We are proud to share that one of our own, Vincent, was awarded a “Build Dakota Scholarship” and will be attending Southeast Tech for Construction Management.

Through the Build Dakota Scholarship, RP covers half of his tuition, and the state covers the other half — giving students a full‑ride education and job security with us after graduation.

Since 2015, RP Constructors has grown year after year - and this role is a key part of supporting that continued expansion. Our Welders/ Fitters handle the real work: fabricating, fitting, welding, installing, maintaining, and repairing process and utility piping systems in industrial facilities.

8 PM. Raw sewage. Nobody went home.
Owner had a line failure and called us to fix it — tonight. The crew got in the hole and got it done. No drama, no complaints.

Everyone says they have the best employees. These photos are why we don’t have to say it.

Travis , Aaron, Cullen, Tim, Brett — one of them is a VP. You’d never know it by looking at him right now.

They say everything's bigger in Texas, and 96" diameter pipe doesn't fit on just any truck.

This is why we picked up the PC650. You can't offload something this size with a 360. Our crew in Wylie is moving sections like this all week on the ARCO Murray project.

It's one of those jobs where the scale of the work reminds you why we invest in the right iron and the right people to run it.

Over the weekend we had multiple crews out across the Midwest and down into Texas—helping a long-time “wet industry” customer get their fire loop back online, and supporting a newer data center partner as they brought a new facility we helped build into service. When the call comes, our guys do what they always do: grab their gear and go.

Why? Because we don’t treat people like headcount, we treat them like partners. The culture here is simple: we win together, we suffer together, and nobody’s too important to jump in a trench or stay late to get a customer back online. We’re not perfect and don’t pretend to be, but the way our teams respond to last‑minute weekend work says more about this place than any slogan ever could.

We work hard, we play hard, and we’re growing—locally and across the region, especially in Texas, Arizona, and Georgia. Memorial Day weekend. Our crew is on-site at an industrial wastewater treatment facility — because something came up and we responded.

That’s the design-builder difference. We own it.

Bad things happen in life. It’s how you respond that defines you. These guys didn’t blink — holiday weekend or not.

Apparently “spring” in the Midwest now means welding 16" forcemain in the rain and digging mud trenches up to your knees.

These shots are from our 2023 Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion – Bid Package 3 for the City of South Sioux City, NE: new suction lift station, rehabbed satellite lift stations, and miles of 16" and 24" PVC forcemain going in by both open cut and trenchless methods. The photos pretty much sum it up: big green pipe, bigger drill head, and our awesome crews and subs.

We’ve got projects like this running all over the upper and lower Midwest right now, and as the weather finally starts to cooperate, you’ll be seeing more work popping up closer to home too. If this looks like your idea of a good day at work, we should talk.
