W.E. understands that evolution is a process, perfection happens over long periods of time and involves being humble and being able to recognize where improvement can take place. Being consistent is key. Recently Western Earthworks joined a group of contractors from across the country to look inside other like minded businesses to see how they adapt to the same problems W.E. encounters. For two days we discussed issues relevant to business development and company growth and visited job sites to visually see how others approach the same problems…….it was incredible! And as it turns out we are not alone. We walked a job site on a development in Alabama where 850 homes will be built in the next 8 years. We spoke with other foremen and mangers, discussed the key elements of building a team and started relationships with contractors that are adapting and overcoming the same bumps in the road we face everyday. We always strive to do better, and we look forward to the future, it’s an exciting trip to be on!
