One of my favorite clients in Glenview, obviously I’ve spent a lot of time in Glenview this summer. When you know you’re putting a new patio in next spring and you realize you’re going to be looking directly at your neighbors house, Jackie talks you into getting rid of the garbage and putting in a beautiful view for the future. Now we will not look at the neighbors house we will look at beautiful green giant arborvitae, and a gorgeous ruby Falls redbud.
We finally finished the front entry from last season, the new bluestone is laid in the front entryway, and all of the perennials have been added to the landscaping. Slowly, but surely it’s all falling into place. Next year, a beautiful new deck and patio.
Landscaping doesn’t need to be done all in one phase to see the future results.
I love the clients I work with for years and years and years, together we get to watch the visions grow.
Thank you again to an awesome crew that puts in so much hard work to make all of these dreams become reality for our clients, without you, it’s only a piece of paper.

What a pleasure to give this new client and friend the beginnings of a beautifully landscaped Yard. This seasons project started with a back border along the fence to bring some life to the view from the backyard. Then we added a beautiful Jane Magnolia, to soften up the space between their yard and the neighbors. No fence is necessary when you enjoy your neighbor, just a pretty little tree to give you both something to look at and soften the view.
What an awesome start and what a fun job. I cannot wait until spring. Then we take care of the curb appeal.
Once again, a shout out to my crew. These guys always understand the assignment.

When your client in Glenview decides to install a new fence, we come in and take a dull, boring, unused space, and turn it into a welcoming entry.
Choosing the right steppingstone was a challenge, but we nailed it. She could not be happier with the outcome. It’s so nice to see wasted space now enjoyable usable space.
I’ve been working with this client for years, always creating a new little area to enjoy. So honored to be a part of that.

Sorry, I’ve been a little lazy about posting here on Facebook. Just a little catch up with a few little fun jobs we did this past couple weeks.
For this client in Glenview, we took wasted space filled with old hosta and Buckthorn, and turned it into a beautiful neighborhood garden for everybody to enjoy.
You will notice we added some boulders in scattered areas, we call those P*e rocks, it helps the neighborhood dogs that are enjoying the new garden have a specific place to Mark. You would be surprised how well it works.
This is going to be a beautiful garden as it evolves.
Looking forward to watching it grow.
Once again, thank you to the family for trusting me with their yard, and a fabulous crew to make our dreams come true.

You want to talk about the best time of the year to plant, we are entering it now. Cooler days, cooler evenings makes maintaining a new planting so much easier.
The season is starting out busy and the garden centers and nurseries are ready for us.
Look at all of the beautiful plants still waiting for the perfect Yard to call home.
One of the nicest things about fall planting, no spring projects. You get to just sit back and watch the new garden growing.
Looking forward to working with all you to give you something beautiful to wake up to next spring.

Calamintha - Nepeta
My all-time favorite late August pollinator. Every nectar loving bird, bee and bug around is attracted, the plant never sits still. The activity on this plant is crazy,
If you’re looking for a really good late season pollinator, I would make this number one on your list.

There’s nothing I like better than doing jobs in my hometown!
This Wilmette house was so much fun to unbury.
I don’t know what it is about this client, she won my heart and my trust from day one. It’s not easy to win both of those with me that quickly.
I see this is being a long-term garden relationship, if I’m lucky. Together we were able to start to open up the homes curb appeal, slowly start to add plants that make the house pop out instead of disappear, and hide an AC unit in a way that if a technician ever needs to get at it, it won’t make their life miserable and it will still get plenty of airflow around it.
This is only the beginning, the best is yet to come. A beautiful landscaping evolves over the years.

If you ever need a good chuckle, I will introduce you to this client, she made me laugh harder than I have in a long time😂

As always, a shout out to my crew who makes all of our dreams come true!!!!

Such a fun spruce up!
When life threw this client a curveball she turned it into a home run!
Not only have I had a great time turning “her” space into a quiet little paradise, I have made a wonderful new friend in life.
Sometimes tearing out the old and freshening it up with a little color and purpose makes life feel so good.
I’m sure there’s an angel smiling down on this garden, and I’m sure he’s approving 100%!
Thanks again to a phenomenal group of men that make my visions happen and make my clients happy!
I could never do this without you guys.
Thank you my wonderful client and friend, looking forward to many more projects together.

One of my favorite homes to work at. I no longer call them clients I call them friends. Every year a few new projects, every year a more and more beautiful Yard. Every year, I have to fight with the ducks for a place to sit.
Sadly, we lost some old, large oak trees, so we have gone from a shade garden to Bright Sun.
A couple of years to mature, and it will be beautiful.
So grateful for such awesome clients!
