My comments are not of a partisan nature. I am a concerned citizen who cares about the welfare of the people of this nation. My recent posts are not about former President Donald Trump but about the current administration’s questionable governance and its lack of transparency concerning President Biden’s mental health. At his last official appearance at the United Nations, President Biden awkwardly forgot he was introducing Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, which was not only embarrassing for him but also for the United States. If he were your parent, you would take away his car keys and not allow him to drive, let alone be the leader of what was formerly the most powerful nation in the world.
The people around him—his cabinet and the vice president—have a sworn duty to protect the United States of America, and they should be held responsible for their failure to act. Maybe the failure to act was for selfish reasons, but whatever the motive, they had a moral and patriotic obligation to do something. From the lowest office in the land to the highest, they cannot be allowed to continue in office. Whether for personal gain or self-ambition, their decision to hold back is unconscionable. There were better alternatives as far as candidates go, and this status quo cannot continue. The people need to clean house, recognize who our real friends and allies are, and demand leadership that truly serves the nation.
Additionally, we as a country are deeply in debt financially to the rest of the world. Our national debt, now at $33 trillion and rising, is becoming unsustainable. Soon, this debt will be called in, leading to a financial reckoning. The problem isn’t a lack of revenue; in fact, income to the U.S. Treasury has increased steadily since the 1950s. It’s not about money—it’s about the government spending beyond its limits, with no real controls in place. This has contributed to inflation, affecting the middle class significantly. Coupled with the instability of global markets, the U.S. economy is on shaky ground, and the status quo cannot continue. Increasing taxes alone isn’t the solution; expenditures must be reduced, and fiscal discipline must be restored.
As a nation, we cannot continue down this path of fiscal irresponsibility. Our leaders, from the lowest office to the highest, must be held accountable for their decisions, and the people must demand change before it’s too late. If we fail to rein in spending and restore fiscal discipline, we risk passing an insurmountable burden to future generations. The looming financial reckoning will not just affect markets but the very fabric of American society. We need to stop avoiding hard choices and realize that fiscal responsibility and strong governance are essential for maintaining the country’s stability and power on the global stage. The time for action is now, and it’s up to the American people to clean house, demand transparency, and prioritize real leadership that safeguards the future of our nation. The status quo is no longer an option.
